With some kids it can be an uphill struggle trying to convince them that 5am is not the time to get up, but with the Gro-clock you stand a fighting chance of staying in bed for another couple of hours!

The Gro-clock is incredibly simple, yet very clever. It helps children who are too young to read an ordinary clock to tell the difference between night and day. By using images of the sun and moon children are encouraged to stay in bed longer as they learn to “Stay in bed until you see the sun”.

The Gro-Clock includes a lovely ‘Sleepy Farm’ story book that tells the tale of a very tired pig, a story that helps to reinforce the message of the importance of a good night’s sleep.

The Gro-clock features a glowing screen that shows images of moon and sun to communicate ‘sleep’ and ‘wake-up time’ to children. Stars on the display go out one-by-one during the night to show the passing of time. The brightness of the screen can be adjusted, allowing it to be used as a night light. There’s an optional digital clock and audible alarm feature, or the Gro-clock can be set to run silently.
